To set up a Dejavoo P1 with a pin pad, first connect both devices to the same internet network. We recommend having both devices connected via ethernet for the best results, however, as long as both devices are connected to the same network they will be able to be paired.
Next, download the TPN to only the Master Device, The pin pad will stay at the Enter TPN Screen.
Once the TPN is successfully downloaded, the Master device will have a prompt to pair the pin pad.
Click Pair now on the Master device and select how you would like to pair the device. If the pin pad is any device other than a P17, you will need to choose to pair the pin pad via Wifi. If the pin pad is a P17 you have the option to choose between wifi and USB Cable.
If pairing the device via USB cable, ensure the P17 and P1 are both connected to Power or the devices will not be able to be paired. Then ensure the P17 has the USB cable plugged into the port labeled USB-C on the Power Box plugged directly into the right most larger USB port on the P1 terminal.
On the Pin Pad, click the settings Icon, then Pin Pad. Choose the same option chosen on the Master Device to Pair the Pin Pad.
When Choosing Pairing via Wifi: The P1 should be set up as the Master, and have the IP address already filled out. The pin pad should be set as pin pad, and the IP address will have 2 Blank boxes. Enter the IP address from the P1 into the pin pad, and make sure all 4 boxes match.
Once the IP address is entered hit the Pair Now button on both devices.
When Choosing Pairing Via USB cable: Both terminals should automatically start pairing without needing to enter any additional information.
If successful you will get a screen that shows pairing successful, and the pinpad will go to a screen that shows listening for transaction. the P1 will go to the main sale screen.
You are now ready to run a transaction.
